As I wrote once about older girls, I basically like fucking them. I’m talking about girls between, let’s say, 30 and 35. I can’t really imagine fucking a girl in her late 30s, and the late 20s is still a no man’s land for me.
Older girls are great for what they’ve attained, not for what they’ve maintained (the maintenance is still highly necessary, but a good-looking 31 year old is still just a formerly stunning 21 year old). One thing I’d never say about a 30+ year old girl is that she “still has youthful beauty.” She doesn’t. Youth for humans ends in the mid 20s; maybe a girl can pull off looking youthful a bit into her late 20s, but I’ve never seen a 30 year old girl who looked youthful even if she still looked hot and sophisticated. I know the Lemondrop people don’t care, but they are so, so delusional that it makes me shudder to think about 31 year old girls strutting about as if they still have youthful beauty.
Moreover, I love that QVC conducted a poll about what makes women beautiful – and made sure to ask “over 2,000 men and women.” Since QVC is watched almost entirely by women, along with some homosexual men, they’re asking people who are attracted to men what’s attractive about women. This feedback loop has produced the insane conclusion that seven out of ten people think that confidence matters most for women, and only two thirds of people think that a woman’s good looks are what make her beautiful! Are we really to believe that a third of people think that a woman’s looks – basically synonymous with beauty – are not the most relevant factor to her beauty?
Picture: I tried using Google Image search to locate the hottest 31 year old girl I could find. This one really doesn’t look bad at all, but she’s wearing a shitload of makeup, is very fashioned out, and still needs to pose in a girlish position to make herself seem younger.

It’s painful when you work with an attractive woman in her early 30′s and get to watch her “hit the wall” in real time. Happens so quickly…
Ugh. I work pretty hard at making myself outgoing, smiley and flirty with girls I meet (I pretty much practice day game 24/7, since I don’t drink alcohol). So in the office I actually have to concentrate not to think of the girls in any sexual way. I guess I’m pretty good at turning it off from 9 to 6.
I’m willing to give a woman *some* leeway on age, even up to the age of 30. What I want is a reasonably presentable woman for a wife, and if the woman is up to that age I can deal with it – provided that she can successfully have children.
1. What is the name of the actress in the photo?
2. Some women are extremely delusional about how fast they age. I remember reading a short interview with one of the women from Sex With the City, and at the age of forty-three she stated that she would be willing to marry and have kids if the right man came along.
I think the woman in question who made the idiotic comment was this one:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kristin_Davis
I could be wrong though.
Her name is Anna Friel. Now I see she’s just turned 34, though I don’t know when that picture was taken.
I’m ambivalent about that television program. On the one hand, it’s totally foolish and turns clever girls into stupid, but on the other hand, it’s a great tool for insight into the psychosis of urban girls.
I have to assume that a 43 year old woman who hasn’t married and had children has decided not to, or at least decided not to decide, and if she says she’d be open to meeting “the right man,” she’s dissembling.
You are probably right that she was dissembling, but at 43 it is pretty obvious that what she is talking about is probably not going to happen.
I think part of why I didn’t realize that KD might have been dissembling is that I frequently take comments as they are, even though I know that people lie and play other games.
Once more comment…
According to wikipedia Anna Friel has been in a common-law marriage since 2001, so she isn’t on the prowl as a thirty-four year old woman. According to her wikibio she even has kid with her comlaw husband.
Good for her. At 34 years old, she should have settled down.
This just makes me want to look for my future husband through the craigslist,”older man looking for a younger girl” personals.
I kid, but wtf.
Sorry, I hit submit too soon.
This is scary, is all I’m saying. I hated getting older after 16, which I know is a ridiculous thought but I just know I’m getting closer to being OLD. Which isn’t that far away.
I never understood the movie “13 going on 30″ for the reasons you’ve stated in this post. Even at 13 or however old I was when that movie came out I knew what was up.
I don’t think you have anything to fear. Girls who have a realistic understanding of the way their physical attractiveness to men will decline after their mid 20s (and just how supremely important their physical attractiveness is to men) are greatly advantaged.
i guess i’m an exception to the norm because without makeup people think i’m 19 maybe 22 and with makeup 25. i’m actually 31… i feel and see the difference. i used to hate that i look so young. now i’m only as old as others perceive me to be ;)
Hahaha! Where have YOU been looking?!?! I’m a 31 year old married woman with kids, and I get hit on by 18-21 year old boys all the time. My kid’s teachers mistake me as being the sister when I really am mom. And I don’t need to make myself look younger. Genetically, I do hold my youthfulness. My girl friends in their 20s never get carded, but I always get carded. I get a lot of love, yet a lot of envy from others. And I know you don’t fancy skinny women because you think they have no curves, but let me break it to you: I’m a size 0 naturally (even after having kids), yet my curves are proportionately fine: 32-22-34. I’m glad there are men like you out there who like to generalize women. It makes our list of stalkers a whole lot shorter. Hehehehe… Maybe when you add another 10 years of wisdom and experience to you, you may realize your habit of generalizing lead you to miss out on a lot of opportunities with babes who can still keep it sexy in their 30s.
Dear D,
Pics or it didn’t happen.
Sincerely,
G
