Libertarians and Jews

I was thinking about Half Sigma’s question Why are all the Jews libertarian? and actually came up with an interesting idea:

Liberty (I hate the term “libertarianism”) is the Jewish version of conservatism in countries outside Israel. In other words, those Jews who are inclined to become conservatives, either because they’re simply disposed to it or because of personal experiences that showed them how progressivism is wrong, end up as libertarians.

That being said, in America liberalism/liberty/libertarianism is conservative, even though progressives bizarrely and confusingly insist on clinging to the title “liberal.” So: liberty is the Jewish conservativism and the American conservatism.
